What You Should Know

I've decided to cancel the 30 Day Photo Challenge and just get back to taking photos without a theme. I grew tired of it.

However I do have to share with you how the project is going. I just uploaded some of my photos onto my Facebook page(check me out at Forehand Photography). I also plan on uploading some more today so you can check it later on.

I know it's a bit late but I wish you all a merry merry Christmas. I've had a wonderful time with my family, some who I don't have the opportunity to see often, and received many spectacular gifts! (a new hair straightener{Evolution flat iron~ I recommend it highly}, an assortment of clothes and makeup,a super book{Speak Love by Annie F. Downs}, a pair of black Vans, and etc.)

I'll admit I'm a bit behind working on my project. I do hope to catch up today on the photo editing, I've already taken quite a lot.

I will include in the blog post an interesting shot I caught on Christmas morning.

If you aren't able to tell, my cat is looking up at the light pouring in from an arched window I have in my bedroom. The leave shadows are visible as well, making the pattern a bit hectic. On my wall is a timeline project of my name as well.

I can't say when I'll post again so goodbye for now.

:)

Project Update!

I am a slacker. Now I know I started the 30 Day Photography Challenge a week or so ago and I've only posted four pictures since...But my excuse stands that I was awfully sick, and then after my recovery it's taken me some time to get caught up with everything I've become behind in.

UPDATE

The Goal

Allow me to fill you in on all the not-so-juicy details of what I've accomplished so far for my project! My plan was to have at least ten photos taken and edited and an up and running page on Facebook for me to post them on.

The Reality

I just created my Facebook page and I would absolutely love for you to check it out! It's called Forehand Photography because I didn't really want to over use the whole Photos For the Future thing. So here you go:

Now let me just say, if by some chance you'll be checking it out in the few minutes after I post this you will be awfully disappointed so I advise you to let me add all my photos first. ;)
I also reached my photo-editing goal, woo! I will post ALL(you're welcome)of my photos there.

Overall this project is probably the most interesting school assignment I've ever had so I will continue to take my pictures and edit them. My next goal is to have ten more photos done by January 30th! I hope this great season(Christmas time is my favorite<3) will offer up many wonderful photo opportunities! I will continue the 30 Day Challenge but I've decided to expand my time frame to post. I will post them as often as I can!

Something Green

Day 4: Something Green

Here's my something green. This is a picture I took at the park by my house one sunny day. I was supposed to post this one yesterday but I was feeling under the weather (and still am :/ ), so I pulled up this picture from a week or so ago. I won't be catching up for my after dark photo, but I will try to post one tomorrow.

Clouds

Day 3: Clouds

Now I think I might be breaking the rules of this challenge a bit today (such a reBel I know). I had the intentions of going out and taking my cloud picture just as I've been doing the past couple of days (regardless of the fact that I'm having a sick day[oh yes I'm committed like that]) but then I peered out the window and the sky was a smooth gray mass...I guess technically it was all clouds but I didn't feel like it would've made the best picture.

Now what I have here is actually a picture from yesterday. When I was using my timed photo app I had set my phone up in a tree and it slipped. What I caught was a pretty cool image of the sky through some tree branches so I took another and came up with this. ;)

Tomorrow I'll show you something green.

What I Wore

DAY  2: WHAT YOU WORE

Okay so here is me apologizing(again). In the background is my not-so-lovely garbage can and some weird pipe things off the side of my house (neither are attractive yes I am aware :P). Also to add to this list of atrocities is the lack of quality in the actual image, not really sure what happened there (except maybe it has to do with the fact that I used a new app to take the photo...). Now yes, I used a timer app so that I did all of the photo-taking without help from anyone (otherwise I don't feel like it qualifies as one of my photos, you know?). Now to describe what the picture actually contains(well positive subject matter that is).

This is, as the daily subject says, what I wore today, or my OOTD if you like. In case you aren't able to tell, (picture isn't clear^still sorry about that^) I have on a pair of black skinny jeans, black sneakers, a black tank top, a green army jacket, and an amour *it means love* necklace. I hadn't meant for it to seem like I only wear dark clothing but well it happened...

I hope to have tomorrow's picture be better quality and that you stay tuned for the rest of my 30 Day Photography Challenge.

DAY  1: SELF PORTRAIT

So here I am, I guess this challenge will help you to get to know a little bit more about me(yep that's me...). I thought I should do a bit more than take an average selfie so I took it at an interesting angle. It was on the side of my house and the contrast of stripes added another nice layer to the shot. I'll be back tomorrow with my OOTD :)
