ALBUMS AT LAST! And a Farewell...

:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

It's here at last! The highly requested(not really) super important(eh kind of) photo album(well there is actually two of them) has arrived! I had my photos developed last week and I got the album and positioned them this past week! I think they're super pretty yet still seem kind of professional!

I do have to say that this has been enjoyable project and I had a good time blogging, but we've reached the end of our journey. I think I my still post new photos to my Facebook page so be sure to keep up with it @ Forehand Photography

Bye bye, and I hope you all are willing to go out and try something new, because you may just find that it's your passion, and even I you don't, you learned a new skill!

The End is Coming

I'm almost(but not quite)sorry to say that this project is coming to an end! Yeah you've got that right, next week will be my last blog post! It's time I let you know where I stand in relation to project completion.

I developed my photos this past week and they look great! I did have to adjust some of the cropping for a number of photos(which slightly alters my vision but oh well) and some of them couldn't be developed due to sizing issues.

My original goal was to have 41 photos taken by the end of this project. After I removed some of my photos due to the complications I mentioned earlier, I had 46 photos developed! I surpassed my goals! I do still need to get a photo album but I plan on picking one up this weekend.

Now(for no particular reason) enjoy some pictures of Yoshi!

Out at the Lake

My project seems to be going very well. I will have to do a photo count later, but I believe that I am rapidly approaching my project goal! I will update my Facebook page later today and once I get my first paycheck I will also get my photo album!

LAKE IAMONIA

Recently my family has just bought a new house, and I am incredibly excited. We learned that there's a large lake nearby and we went out and visited it. I must say, it's gorgeous. I love the smoothness of the water and the tree line in the background.

I Took a Little Drive

(Not as the driver of course)

Well hi there, it looks like Friday has come again(so fast). You'll probably be expecting some photos, and surprisingly I have some for you today! On my drive to youth group Wednesday night, the sun was shining and so was the light bulb above my head. So yeah...pictures!

Just Keep Driving

This one was just an interesting(to me at least) shot of a car(I believe it was a jeep) passing by. Of course the lovely Walmart can be seen peeking out of the back drop for this photo.

Sunny Little Church

One of my favorite buildings in my city. This gorgeous church sits on the side of the road, bathed in sun pouring down from above.

Turn Right

This cleverly-named photo has a neat perspective on this right turn. Yeah I'm really running out of things to say here (excuse this rambling post entirely from your mind).

Well I'll be here next, you guessed it, Friday. I wish you all a beautiful Easter holiday! Spend time with family and friends, eat some candy, and thank God for what was done for You along time ago, up on a cross! <3

A Giraffe

It's been a bit of a slow week for the picture-taking, though I do have some great shots from my trip to Maclay Gardens last week.

For You

Yes, again I have a "flower-offering-kind" of photo and if you haven't already figured it out, I adore taking photos of nature! This time my lovely Lotus flower of a mother posed for me.

Okay and one more for good measure.

A Giraffe

Yep that's a giraffe. (You're welcome)  Just a throw back to my day at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Well I'm sorry there's not much to post for you today, but I'll be back next week with something, you can count on it! Enjoy you're week and if you're feeling down search pictures of the incredibly real miniature giraffe (they'll exist one day I know it).

Spring!

It's Spring Break so I won't take too much time here! The project is going incredibly well! I had the chance to visit Maclay Gardens today!(It's a beautiful oasis of flowers and other plants)

I captured a TON of awesome photos, here are just a few.(hit up my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/forehandphotography to see more!)

The Giving Tree

(The name of this picture has little significance to the shot, it just serves to allude to the wonderful children's book) You can thank my lovely sister for posing in this shot for me.(I believe she's made an appearance or two in my photos before)

A QUIET PLACE

Such a pretty bench that looks like a peaceful place to think/read. The gorgeous flowers added the perfect back drop!

TRAIL TO THE POND

A sweet little path to a lake-side pavilion. What could be more perfect? This made the loveliest shot! The bright light from the sun however, seems to have made the lake in the background disappear.

I hope everyone has a great break, and go outside and enjoy the Spring weather!

MORE MORE MORE & Deliverables!

Wonderful news! The haze has lifted and I come with some fresh new photos that I took just this week! Before we get to those, however, it is also my job to share my Deliverables!

GOAL:

To have taken, and edited, at least thirty six photos by today's date, March 13. I should also have a photo album by now.

REALITY CHECK:

I have a total of thirty-four photos at this moment! So very close! My lack of inspiration recently may have temporarily set me back, but I will achieve my goals by the project's end! I also need to purchase a snazzy album to arrange my photos in.

Now let's get to the meat and potatoes of this post!

SEASON OF GROWTH

I'm going to be completely honest when I say that I found this little flower laying, disconnected from its stem, in the grass. I picked it up and "planted" it in the flower bed at the edge of my porch. It still looks quite lovely, and the green sprouts that surround it perfectly display the season of growth that is upon us.

FLOWER OFFERING

This has to be one of my favorite photos of mine. The same flower from the 'growth' picture, I had my sister delicately hold in her hands. It is as if she says "I offer this golden gift to you". Lovely.

If you are interested in more photos, you can find them on my facebbok page here:

I hope you will go out and enjoy the spring time weather(if you happen to be located in the south <and if not, the snow if something to appreciate!this coming from a Floridian :)>  )!
